The festival will take place from May 28th to July 17th in Las Vegas (USA) and will distribute 99 bracelets
The WSOP (World Series of Poker) 2024 has become more accessible compared to the last five years, with an average buy-in (registration value) of US$9,817 (almost R$50,000). In this edition, 99 bracelets will be distributed in the "Poker World Cup".
Participating in all WSOP tournaments, which is practically impossible due to conflicting dates and times, would cost US$971 thousand (R$4.86 million). This value includes exclusive tournaments, such as Ladies for women and Seniors for players over 50 years old, counting only one entry per event.
The most expensive tournament in the series is the Super High Roller, with a buy-in of US$250,000 (R$1.25 million), which will take place on June 21st. The High Roller will have a buy-in of US$100,000 (R$500,000), and four other tournaments will have buy-ins of US$50,000 (R$250,000).
In contrast, the WSOP offers more affordable tournaments, such as the Gladiators, with a buy-in of US$300 (R$1,500), and the Colossus, with a buy-in of US$400 (R$2,000), being the cheapest ones that still grant bracelets.
Additionally, there are tournaments without bracelet awards, the Daily Deep Stack, held daily, with buy-ins of US$200, US$250 and US$400 (approximately R$1 thousand, R$1.25 thousand and R$ 2 thousand, respectively).
The WSOP 2024 will take place from May 28th to July 17th, again at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas casinos in the United States, marking the 55th edition of the "World Cup of Poker".
Brazil has accumulated 31 WSOP bracelets, 13 of which were won in in-person tournaments and 17 in online competitions. Alexandre Gomes was the first Brazilian to win a bracelet, in 2008. Yuri Martins, considered one of the best Brazilian players today, is the only one with four bracelets, having won two live and two online.
